NASA App challenge 2018 excites the students at  Kolkata's Top engineering college - Heritage Institute of Technology .  The student led event created a knowledge based discussions around the campus.  The  NASA  Space App Challenge-  Prequalifying Round was being organized at Kolkata top engineering college Heritage Institute of Technology Kolkata on 15th Sept. 2018. The event started at 8 am and will be continued till 2 pm tomorrow. Nearly 400 B.tech students participated in this Hackathon to create smart apps which will used in the Space programmes by  NASA . The final round will be held in the month of October at IIT Delhi. There were 40 teams form Heritage Institute of technology comprising of 400 students participated in this International Competition. Kolkata's top school The Heritage School  organized Swimming Gala 2018 which excited the students of senior school. The Heritage School Kolkata organized the Grand  Swimming   Gala  for the Senior School students on 13th Sept. 2018.  The programme was participated by the students of Classes VI to XII in 26 individual aquatic competitions in freestyle and break stroke and 5 free style relay competitions. Altogether there were 156 participants from various school houses: Aryabhatt, Chanakya, Patanjali and Dronacharya. The great event was inaugurated by Mr. Alvito D Cunha,   former member of the Indian Football Team and represented India in the 2002 world cup qualifiers. Teachers day and the 18th Foundation day 2018 was celebrated at  Kolkata's top college-  Heritage Institute of Technology  on 5th Sept. 2018. Teachers Day as well as the 18th Foundation Day of Heritage Institute of Technology, Kolkata (HIT-K) was celebrated in a grand way on 5th September, 2018, in the Heritage campus.
