Social responsibility is also a part of education beyond classrooms

Heritage has blossomed smiles on millions of poor people.... Education not only teaches us to follow lectures but going beyond it................................igniting the creative minds It was an array of activities at Heritage Institute of Technology (HIT) on Friday with the fourth edition of Dakshh 2010, the annual technology festival, getting under way. Engineering colleges from across the state will take part in the three-day fest, which is being held on the Anandapur campus of the institute. "You are as important as diode to a rectifier" - one can get to hear lines like this in the Tech@Heart competition, in which participants will use engineering lingo to convey their feelings for their loved ones. Students will put their skills to test during the fest and have dollops of fun as well.
