If not IITs, why at Heritage? COMPASS-2012 answers the same

Heritage Institute of Technology, Kolkata, is established by Kalyan Bharti Trust which comprises of 22 eminent industrialists, in the year of 2001 with 212 students and 4 departments. Now currently the institute caters to 2500 students, 9 departments and employs 400 teaching and non-teaching staff. 10 years of such a huge transformation in terms of intellectual capital and student’s enrollment has not been a very easy task for Heritage. It had been possible with the efforts of dedicated faculty members extracted from IITs, NITs, and other reputed engineering colleges across the globe as well as the vision on which the Kalyan Bharti Trust is molding Heritage in to a center of excellence. Over the years, Heritage has attracted top companies for campus recruitments since the year when the first batch has passed out.
