On 30th January 2012, the Heritage School Kolkata organized "CONFERO 2012" an Interschool Debate Competition which was participated by 12 schools across the city. The main theme of the Debate was "Is International Education pre-requisite of success for an individual?" Nearly 46 teams across well reputed schools of Kolkata participated in the competition which included 96 students. Education today is a much more challenging and dynamic process that aims to equip young students with necessary skills to adapt to the changing needs of a global environment. Speech and communications form an integral part of this process.
