Health camp organized by the MBA students of Heritage

On 22^nd January 2012, the students of Management Education Center of Heritage Institute of Technology Kolkata organized a Health Camp in association with Lions Club Calcutta District. The camp focused on ECG diagnosis, testing of blood sugar level, monitoring of blood pressure, eye checkup and many other minor tests conducted by eminent panel of doctors for the underprivileged people from the neighboring villages near the Heritage campus free of cost. More than 1000 poor people attended the camp and were assisted throughout the process by experienced panel of doctors.

The whole event was coordinated by the MBA students as well as faculty members and official of Suryakiran which is free charitable school promoted by Kalyan Bharti trust the promoters of Heritage.

Heritage Group of Institutions Kolkata celebrated its 10th Anniversary with former President of India, Bharat Ratna APJ Abdul Kalam on 5th July, 2011 in the Heritage campus. It had been a magnificent moment for the Heritage School and Heritage Institute of Technology where more than 300 students, faculty members and other dignitaries got the opportunity to listen to the speech of APJ Abdul Kalam which is a prized direction for the educational conglomerate after completing 10 years of excellence in education. The day started with a huge gathering in the football ground of the campus which was decorated with a huge pandal to welcome Chief Guest Bharat Ratna APJ Abdul Kalam. At 3:30 pm, Dr. Kalam reached the campus and was received by the Secretary of Kalyan Bharti Trust, Shri H.K.Chaudhary along with Executive Director of the Trust Shri Probir Roy and CEO, Shri Pradip Agarwal. EU’s Erasmus Mundus programmes introduced @ Heritage
