I am speaking not because of education but inspite of education" says Dr. Raj Sethia in an Interactive Session at Heritage Institute of Technology, Kolkata, on 9th April, 2010 where all the faculty members of Heritage School, The Heritage Academy and The Heritage Institute of Technology got the ignited exposure of the learning experience which nurtures every educationist to think education beyond classrooms ahead in the school of tommorrow.

The session being contributed by Dr. Sethia started off with a constructive discussion on the topic " Direct relationship between school education and society" where he said that education at some point of time becomes a biggest baggage. One has to unlearn formal education giving a De- schooling experince to the future generation to become the epitome of knowledge and success in the society. Also he shared his experiences by giving sample caselets of distinguished schools outside India spreading quality education where the system of delivery is totally different than what is in India. The Indian education system goes through a very rigid curriculum and restrictions imposed on the students and due to this, there is very little opportunity of creativity and innovation to nurture the young talent. Many of the times, the teachers misinterprate the psycological mind set of the students due to the lack of flexibility of the system for which education is unable to flourish in India giving more stress on social development. But then slowly a tremendous change is taking place in the sector and education has become really a GAME CHANGER.
Lastly the session ended up with a WOW Effect by the members where everyone for the first time sprang up with energy and enthusiasm giving way to a wholistic change for the School of Tommorrow. The session was being attended by more than 100 faculty members from Heritage which embarked the renaissance -A DE-SCHOOLING Experience". Shri Pradip Agarwal the CEO of Kalyan Bharti Trust, promoting Heritage Group of Instituions said that Heritage since 10 years have been contributing in different means to initiate innovation and creativity in the education system of India starting from School to Higher education giving vibrant careers to the students of the future.
Yes indeed a remarkable day for HERITAGIANS..............................................
