Due to heavy rain, final match was cancelled and the ASISC had decided to make the semi-final winners as the joint winners of the grand tournament. In the Junior Boys category, Bihar & Jharkhand and Uttar Pradesh won the championship trophy. In the Junior Girls Category, Karnataka and Maharashtra won the championship trophy. ASISC National Basket Ball Meet 2012 inaugurated by Mr. Ajit Banerjee at The Heritage School, Kolkata

Bengal Olympic Association President, Mr. Ajit Banerjee, inaugurated the Association of Schools for the Indian School Certificate (ASISC) National Basket Ball Meet at The Heritage School Kolkata in a grand way. This time 445 participants from 85 schools in India covering 11 regions and 13 states are actively participating in this national competition. Some of the prominent schools are Bishop Cotton, Hiranandani Foundation School, Sophie International School, Carmel School, Jamna Narsee School and many more are taking part in this event to make this a grand success.
