ASISC National Basket Ball Meet 2012 inaugurated by Mr. Ajit Banerjee at The Heritage School, Kolkata

Bengal Olympic Association President, Mr. Ajit Banerjee, inaugurated the Association of Schools for the Indian School Certificate (ASISC) National Basket Ball Meet at The Heritage School Kolkata in a grand way. This time 445 participants from 85 schools in India covering 11 regions and 13 states are actively participating in this national competition. Some of the prominent schools are Bishop Cotton, Hiranandani Foundation School, Sophie International School, Carmel School, Jamna Narsee School and many more are taking part in this event to make this a grand success. From West Bengal 4 schools are participating which are The Heritage School Kolkata, MCKV School, Bally, St. Agnes School and Grace Ling Liang English School.



“Its a great moment in sports fraternity to cheer the young prospective players of the nation,” said Mr. Sunil Singh, the sports head of The Heritage School Kolkata. Mr. Ajit Banerjee said that this type of event is the pride for Bengal at the time of 150th birth anniversary celebration of Swami Vivekananda.Principal of The Heritage School Ms. Seema Sapru, Vice-principal of the Heritage School, Ms. Meenakshi Atal, CEO of the Heritage School, Shri Pradip Agarwal, Headmaster of the Heritage School Darryl Christensen and campus Administrator, Cdr. S.Dey were present during the inauguration ceremony.

EU’s Erasmus Mundus programmes introduced @ Heritage
