Durga Puja celebrations at Heritage Institute of Technology

On 9th October 2018, Heritage Institute of Technology organized a cultural programme to reflect the colors of India dedicated towards the festive season of Durga Puja 2018. The cultural programme was named as Prothoma, the onset of Durga Puja celebrations in the city of joy- Kolkata.


The students of the Institute organized this memorable event which started with cultural dance symbolizing unity in diversity. Moreover to make a strong impression in the campus, the students also organized a Rangoli competition and photography show which showcased brilliant snapshots taken by the students in various other areas. The Pravasana club as well as other clubs of the Institute were actively involved in this great event.

The event also witnessed the presence of CEO of Heritage Group of Institutions, Shri Pradip Agarwal, Shri Arvind Srivastava, Joint Registrar, Heritage Institute of Technology, Dr. Madhupa Bakshi, Dean, Department of Media Sciences, The Heritage Academy and other officials of Kalyan Bharti Trust- the parent body behind the establishment of Heritage Group of Institutions Kolkata.

Apart from cultural dance programmes, there were fashion shows and a film which was presented by the Pravasana Club of Heritage Institute of Technology to make the mood of celebrations for Durga Puja more prominent.

Film and photography festival

EU’s Erasmus Mundus programmes introduced @ Heritage
